Advertising Days - gone bye bye
Thank Goodness!
Looking back on the advertsing days of yesterday, what were we thinking? Will there be a a day when we look back on the marketing and advertsing today and think the same? Advertising and Marketing is based on research and demand, and so generally refects what people wanted during the 20's, 30's, 40's etc. I find it amazing how we as a human race grow and develop into different people all together from generation to generation. Evolution may be a concept in many people's minds but this is what I call subtle evolution!

Today appliances are a must not a gift... they are a necessity!

Cocaine is now illegal and addictive... need I say more.

During the time of new products to help with house cleaning, I am sure a woman would do anything to make house work lighter... this still works today but instead its is to help whoever is doing the housework and this includes, ladies, men, domestic helpers, children the trend is to do less housework to fit in ALL the other activities that keep life so busy.

How do you spell rude. In fact using the modern woman of today, many trends lead to smoke free, alchohol free, healthy, eco friendly and earth friendly.

In retrosepct, this make one realise how far we have come and how far we can still go... creation seems perpetual!

This i have heard to still be correct as an 'old wives tale', however the packaging has changed to a vitamin or suppliment that now contains whatever ingredient/s that are beneficial - without the alchohol!

Ok here is a classic example of what happened before the feminist movement.

Oki Coki... there is truth that coke was used medicinally back then, now it is advertised purely for enjoyment.

mmm... how do you spell politically incorrect, but perhaps things were a little easier back then?

Doctors of today, hopefully due to the research to Cigarette smoking addiction and diseases try to promote quitting cigarettes.
